Pre Production Process
Agreeing a production schedule and a basic outline for the video content at an early stage helps to ensure the project will be both a success, and enjoyable for anyone involved.
The pre production process may involve one or a number of meetings preceding filming, to discuss the creative options open to us within your budget, your expectations and requirements.
The key people in your team, one of our producers and usually the scriptwriter will then need to sit down and get things moving.
The objective of the first meeting will be to agree:
- A detailed schedule for the production, including deadlines for approval of the script and storyboard;
- Pre-production meetings, dates and locations where filming will take place;
- Dates for viewing the rough cut and final cut, completion and how your video will be promoted online through your Accelerated Marketing Package- if this is required.
Pre-production - Scripts will be written, storyboards developed, preparations are made for the shoot, cast and crew are hired, locations selected etc.
Production - Filming will be carried out according to the schedule.
Post-Production - The footage and sound, if recorded separately, will be transferred from the cameras and recording equipment to the computer and into an editing program. Graphics, logos and animation will all then be added at this point if required.
